Just received word that Air Wing 14 has declared one of my squadron kinsmen K.I.A. They recovered some wreckage of his aircraft on Friday, shortly after he went down in the Persian Gulf, and they recovered his body this morning; his family was notified just two hours ago.

My condolences re the loss of a squadron mate.

I notice that your patch is extremely close to the patch of VA 65, spads, CAG 2, during the Quemoy Matsu fracus. Same family tree or just coincindence?

Our commander in heat is sumpin else.
