A Bull Shot question

I got to thinking about the new Taurus Millennium Titanium series. As far as I know this is the only CCW-friendly gun available in 9mm, .40, .45 and .357 SIG. Since you can choose any caliber and the rest of the gun remains the same, which would you pick and why?

If it were up to me, I would go with the .40S&W or the .45 ACP. The .357 is too much to worry about in over penetration and the 9mm also has a tendency to over penetrate. The 45 has more one shot stops attributed to it than any other pistol caliber to date. The 40 has also become a very good at one shot stops. Don't buy into the "knockdown power" crap. It all boils down to shot placement and the size of the wound cavity. The bigger the bullet, the bigger the wound cavity, thus increasing the chances of hitting a vital area.

9mm or 357 SIG.

Both these calibers offer the best balance.........

The Taurus Millenium models (titanium or not) do look cool, although I have heard some disparaging remarks about their trigger pulls.

It should be noted that the .45 ACP version is a distinctly different frame from the rest of the line, and uses a different magazine floorplate. I think the entire gun is a bit wider than the other three models.

I really like the looks of the .45 ACP model more than the other three, but don't have any big opinion as to caliber choice.

How much of a premium is there for the titanium?
