A-bolt Trigger

Hi: I just purchased a new BROWNING A-BOLT COMPOSITE STALKER with adjustable trigger. I removed the trigger guard to get at the adjustment set screw and found the adjustment was all the way down. It breaks at 3 lb 15 oz. I would like it a little lighter. Has anyone ever tried the spring kits sold by TIMNEY and MIDSOUTH?

I have a box of springs with many different wire thicknesses and different OD diameters. I select a spring of the same outside diameter, with a wire thickness about 20% thinner than the one that came with the rifle. I then cut the new spring to the same exact length as the original, and install it in the trigger.
I just replaced a spring on a Browning 22 Hornet Huntsman, which is an A Bolt. You should be able to do the same thing.
