9mm WWB

Last Friday I was able to pick up six boxes of 9mm WWB from a local Wal-Mart for about $20 a box (100 round box). I own a Glock 19 and have been told that just about anything will feed through it. I've also been reading some negative things about WWB - dirty, jams, etc. Has anyone had any problems with it?

Back before the ammo drought, I used to shoot about 2-300 rounds of WWB in 9mm, .40 and .45ACP every week or so. Never had one problem in various guns that I own and have rented.

The only real problem with WWB is that it's nasty as all #$%@. For the price, I'll clean my gun a little more thoroughly and spend a little more time washing my hands. Blazer Brass is also real nice for the $$. When you can find it at Wal-mart, they have it for $8 and change. A little cleaner than WWB.

WWB is my prefered target rd. I never have any trouble with it. I have had alot of problems with Remington yellow box. As far as WWB being nasty as &^*( thats just a couple more patches. It feeds and fires well in all my handguns and I will continure to buy it.

I also like WWB for most of my centerfire target shooting.
I also prefer WWB in it's JHP flavor for self defense carry. It's inexpensive and dependable as all get-out in all my carry pistols.

I just bought a couple hundred rounds and put them through my G17 with no issues. I actually found these to be some of the cleanest ammo I've shot yet. 4-5 swabs and I was clean. Maybe I got lucky...

no problems with any of the WWB, whether 9mm or .45, JHP or FMJ. it all feeds fine in all of my semi-autos. only thing is that it's a bit dirty, but so is most of the cheaper ammo.

Ive shot thousands of 9mm wwb in my H&K and my Ruger and never had a single malfunction from it (never had a malfunction in either gun either)

as of beginning of 2009...Blazer Brass when available; Winchester WWB as an alternate; even got desperate enough to use Wolf steel cased stuff recently; all 3 run great through my Ruger P95

I used to turn my nose up at it because it got my gun dirty. But now it's my Gold Standard, and I had one fail to fire, out of about 5000 rounds. I threw it on the ground and another guy tried it in his gun and it still failed.

So the stuff isn't realiable, 1 out of every 5000 will fail.:p

Ohh, never mind that was a Winclean round.

An answer to your question and then someone gets to answer mine.

Isn't this a qestion you ask Before? you buy the Rds?

Now my turn,

What does WWB stand for?

and I know what FMJ stands for, but what is JHP?

Thanks

Thanks!

Thanks for all of the comments. I took a box with me to the range last night and just as everyone has said, no problems. I went through the box without any problems and the gun wasn't any dirtier then when I've shot anything else through it.

Thanks again!
