So I'm a new gun owner and recently got a 9mm. A friend of mine was telling me that the .40 S&W is better. I was at a gun store this past week and the there are a lot of those for sale and the prices are pretty cheap. What is going on? Should I have gone with the .40 S&W? There also appears to be more of that ammo on the shelves which is weird. They both seem to be similarly sized?
