Was at the Portland Gunshow today and saw both S&B and Olympic Greek 9mm ammo for sale.

Price was $105.95/1000rds.

Which is better? And why?

Thanks,
Steve

The Olympic is good, but I like the S&B better.

It's more accurate in my CZ-75

It's got sealed primers and crimps (not critical but cool)

It's much cleaner than Olympic.

The S&B is usually more expensive than Olympic.

They're both pretty hot loads and more accurate than Winchester White box from Walmart.

BTW: Natchezss.com has the S&B for $99 for 1000 (of course, you'd have to add s/h)

I've shot both and of the two prefer the olympic, wasn't as dirty in my gun at least.

However, look for some fiocci (sp?). Generally a few bucks more per case but much better then the sb and olympic.

Olympic Ammo

I have shot Olympic as well. Still the best deal is the Winchester 115gr boxes of 100 from Wal Mart at 11.00 regular or 10.00 on sale.

I've shot about 30k rounds of the S+B with no problems. BTW: Natchez Shooter Supply usually has it for $100/case.

Haven't tried the Oly ammo (but I do like the beer! :D ). I have shot thousands or rds of S&B 9mm with great success.

Danish ammo is very nice. It is slightly hotter than the typical name brand range ammo, but it is accurate and works well in my 9's. Ammoman has it for $119 delivered.
