Can I use a .365 head in a stranded 9mm case I know it's wider then the .355 head but can it work or will it be to wide for the standered 92fs 9mm barrel.
Thanks
Mike

What kind of "head" are you talking about? And what is a "stranded" 9mm? Sounds like you may need to measure the bullets you have and slug the barrel of your gun? "Normally" 9mm jacketed bullets run .355"-.356", and for a cast lead bullet .356" up to .359" (if it will chamber).

If you mean a .356" bullet in a standard 9mm pistol, then yes, you can use it...

You cannot use .356 "heads" in a 9MM, but you can use .356 bullets.

I use 0.355-0.357" jacketed bullets and 0.357-0.358" cast bullets all the time in 9x19. In fact, 0.356-0.357" jacketed are almost always more accurate than 0.355" jacketed. I always start ALL loading with a new bullet at the starting load, but I have never seen early pressure signs using the larger bullets.
However, you CAN NOT use a 0.365" bullet.
