Remington 124 gr +P Balck Belt fired from 3.9" Sig P229 into calibrated 10% gelatin with and without four layers of denim.

BB: 594.2 fps, 3.1"

Heavy clothing results:

Impact velocity: 1,095 fps
Penetration: 15" of gel and 6" water jug
Retained weight: 120.1 gr
Max expansion: N/A
Min expansion: N/A


Bare gel results:

Impact velocity: 1,083 fps
Penetration: 13.6"
Retained weight: 124.0 gr
Max expansion: 0.645"
Min expansion: 0.491"
 
Their is a you tube video of a student at a Shoalin Temple attempting to snatch that bullet from his Masters hand.
 
that's disappointing, I just loaded up a hundred of these, although 147gr, and they are super accurate. I don't know if they are new or old, but they have the larger diameter driving band at the base that makes a weird bulge in the case, and they are very long. but they feed reliably and shoot super straight.
