9mm 1911

A friend of mine has a colt combat commander in 9mm. I love this gun, and am looking for one. I'm looking for any 1911 style 9mm. Who makes something like this? What about availability and price?

John I have been looking for a 9mm 1911 also. Kimber shows one in their catalog but has no plans to produce one this year. STI lists one on their webpage. I think it was somewhat pricy ($900+). I decided to just build one.

i think Sprinfield makes a 9mm 1911...maybe iven in the shorter slide length too.
