I have a 35 year old Ruger Single Six, .22 mag only (not a convertible) , nine and a half inch barrel, and it's one of my favorites. The price of magnum ammo doesn't seem so much to me nowadays, and I shoot it whenever I go out. It is accurate, powerful and satisfying to shoot. Can't ask for anything more than that.
