92fs Vertec Inox two-tone color question

This may seem like a dumb question, but it's been bugging me, so I'm gonna throw it out to the forum experts. My question is about the two-tone finish of the Beretta 92fs Vertec Inox.

I've seen some photos where the slide and frame have the same metallic silver finish. And I've seen other photos where the slide has the metallic silver finish and the frame is more of a dull gray.

Now, I understand that the slide is stainless steel and the frame is alloy. But are there models where the slide and frame are the same exact color, and other models where the slide and frame are silver and dull gray? Or is it just the lighting in the photos?

There is a slight difference in the color. The anodized finish has a difference that may be caught in photos or not. IMHO not worth the worry, it's a great gun.
 
The slide is stainless steel, the frame is alloy (aluminum) finished/colored to look similar.

While it's possible that Beretta has made or offered a steel-framed 92-series gun, I've not seen one.

I've also not seen an INOX model where the frame and slide exactly match, but they can look pretty close in photos. In person, less so.
 
Yeah, that's the sense I'm getting. I've only seen on in person -- a regular 92fs inox -- and the slide and frame were definitely different.

But I watched a few videos and it seems like there are some models out there with very similar matching colors, even when moved around catching different lighting angles.
 
This is mine and the photo pretty accurately shows the different shade. Due as much to the finish as the frame has a sort of sand blast look that the slide does not. I've never given it much thought until now. Everyone that shoots this gun loves it. Smooth and accurate. :D

Beretta made the Steel I though they are rare and quite pricey. Not my gun... I wish!
