Thousands of calls to Chattanooga's 911 call center have been going unanswered, according to records examined after a caller was unable to report a kitchen fire because three of four dispatchers were taking breaks at the same time.
I read about that in the paper today. From the article it sounds as if it has been an on-going problem. Aside from the unanswered calls I was bothered by the apparent lack of accountability and correction.
It's only going to get worse.
