8mm spc

Hello. I say that you can make 8mm nambu out of .40 s&w. Since s&w is just a shortened 30 rem (6.8 spc) it got me to thinking. Could you cut spc in the shoulder at at the shoulder (for lenght restrictions) and use nambu dies to set a 8mm neck and appropriate shoulder? I'm sure someone has tried it unless I'm missing something.

The .40's rim diameter is 11 thou bigger. And 17 thou bigger at the case body.
The 6.8 has a 2 thou smaller rim and 14 at the case body.
You could turn the rim, but the body is too big. And the .40 is not a shorter 6.8. It's daddy was the 10mm Auto, not the .30 Rem.
Plus it takes more than just an 8mm Nambu die to form the neck.
Huntingtons sells proper head stamp brass bullets and dies.

The rim shouldn't matter. I want to use a spc bolt the die would just be for the shoulder and neck. And the 10mm is cut down 30 rem so if you cut it down again is still 30 rem based. My plan was to use the dies the neck the spc up. Kinda like a 30 herrett ar but in 8mm
