870P with ghost ring sights...how much?

Found a dealer that will sell the Remington 870p 18" with synthetic stock and ghost ring sights. Quoting $550 plus shipping. He sells the 870p with 18" bbl with parkerized finish and walnut stock for $399.00. $150.00 seems like a lot of money for synthetic stock and GR sights. Opinions?
 
I dont know bout the stock options but an extra hundred for ghost rings sounds bout normal for factory stuff. Aftermarket can be even more money. I thought on the police model in parkerized there wasnt any price difference between wood and syn. stocks?
 
There may not be a difference in price for the stocks. Maybe it's all in the ghost ring sights. I can get a Benelli Nova with Ghost ring sights for only $40.00 more than the beaded version, so I didn't think it should be so different with the Remi.
 
They are the Wilson Tactical ghost ring sights and they are worth well over the $100-$150, especially installed.
 
I assume you are talking about Remington Order #4449 that comes with the Wilson Combat Ghost Ring rear sight and XS front sight post?

If so, that is the model I want to get too and I haven't found anybody selling it much cheaper then the price you quoted. IMHO, no $150 is not too much to pay for a Synthetic stock set and those sights. Turn it around, check around and see how much it will cost you to replace the stock set and have those sights installed and then add that to the $399 for the base model.

In all likelihood, you will find it comes out to be more then $550 and the sight install may not even be done as well as the factory job.
