870 Stocks

Are 870 stocks gauge specific? Just got a 20 ga Express for the wife, and she would like a shorter stock. Seems like the easiest thing to do (if I can't find a used Youth stock) is to get a used stock on ebay and cut it down. Thanks in advance!

Try a Knoxx NRS Stock

Knoxx is famous for their recoil reducing stocks for 12ga shotguns that reduce the recoil to almost nothing. I have the SpecOps for my 12ga, and it is amazing. Almost no felt recoil (no pain) even when shooting 3" slugs, which are notorious for causing hurt shoulders.

More to the point...they currently make a stock called the SpecOps NRS (Non-recoil Reducing Stock) for the 20ga (make sure you get the right model because they have a version for the 12ga as well). While it doesn't reduce recoil, it is a telescoping stock and will adjust to fit just about any shooter. So your wife could shoot it, and then hand it to you and you could adjust it with the push of a button and it would fit you.

They look just like those on the M-4 version of the M-16. Visit www.knoxx.com for more info!

They say they plan on releasing a recoil reducing stock some time this year. But for less than $50, the NRS is a good investment to hold you over.

And no, I don't work for them...I'm just a huge fan of their products. I rave just as much about SureFire and Trijicon, Knoxx is in that league. Maybe they'll see all my kind posts and send me a stock for free;)
