870 Police Parkerization Problem

I noticed that the parkerized finish on my 870 Police is coming off at the muzzle. Is this 'normal'? My gun is fairly new and hasn't been shot all that much...what's the deal?

If you mean the finish is coming off the very end of the muzzle, this is blast wear from firing.

If it's coming off the outside of the barrel, and you haven't been handling or rubbing the muzzle in a gun case, return the barrel to Remington for a refinish.

Yes, this is what is happening...I guess it's no cause for alarm, I just never noticed it before on this gun or any other. I could be due to the fact that this is the only gun that I own without screw in chokes.
