Hey guys, i finally got paid at my new job, and i think im gonna buy another shotgun, my question is this, Im leaning towards the Remington Marine Magnum because it has 7 shots and is all stainless, first how much is the marine magnum usually, and second, where can i find one, i cant seem to find one anywhere?

thanks for the replies guys, cant wait to hear your responses!!

The nickel electro-plating on the 870MM is simply outstanding. I've had mine for about 8 years, and it could pass for "as new" (and that is with A LOT of use. :D )

I just bought a Marine Mag. a few months back...sometime over the summer. I just think it is the best shotgun. rifled slugs do very well through this gun. If I remember correctly I paid about $400-450. I ordered it through my friend who has the FFL. FYI: The Marine Magnum is quiet dificult to strip and put back together, I wouldn't seggest doing it very often.

Difficult? You'll get used to it I guess.. I'd bet money I could do it in under a minute, screwdriver in hand! :D

The trick is that you have to push both rails outward at the same time(right at the ends where they meet the front of the guide rails in the receiver). You already that the special tools for that... your fingers! :D

thats not what I am talking about, there is a round piece of metal with two indentations that has to be unscrewed/removed be the fore end can be entirely dissasembled, I.E. for cutting.

Oh, that peice! Yeah, that IS a PITA, but not something you do every day. A wedge of wood whittled down to fit works well. ;)

Marine Magnum is what I have. I love it.

Marine Magnum for HD suggest Vang Comp.

I love my MM. The finish is the best... No maintenence. I had Hans Vang do a Vang Comp job on the barrel and it's a real MUST for a tactical HD weapon. All 00 pellets into 1.5 inches at ten yards.... from an 18 inch barrel. Recoil reduced etc. etc. I have a SureFire front end on it and the standard stock. Great shotgun! I was lucky to get one of the last ones shipped with the aluminum trigger housing.

They are GREAT guns...
