870 Magnum?WingMaster?

Is this a Wingmaster? I could find anything else on the Remington website that had the high gloss stock and fore end; but it doesn?t say WingMaster on it?

Can anyone date it for me?

Assuming it's mint; what's it worth? It has the high gloss blued finish also.

Thanks,
Dave

I think it's an older Wingmaster.
Remington didn't always stamp "Wingmaster" on the guns.

One way to ID a Wingmaster is the high-grade polished blue, the "Bowling pin finish", and the white spacers on the butt pad and grip cap.

Somewhere on the internet is a list of serial number codes that ID a gun's year of manufacture.
I can't find it now, but someone will hopefully know and can ID what year the "W" prefix was made in.

Not all Wingmasters were so labelled.

The easiest way to date it is also the best. During normal business hours, call Remington at 800-243-9700 and give them the serial number.

The Mag was first produced in 1955. Yours looks more like a 70s WM for some reason. These were about as good as they get.

Is that a vent rib? Is there a choke marking?

Looks to be in great shape. Regardless of vintage, a good all around shotgun capable of generations of service.

I'd say $3-400.
