870 for 350

Someone I know is selling a Remington 870 with a folding stock for $350. Hes only fired it about 50 or 60 times. I've looked on the internet trying to compare prices to see how much more a new one would cost me and maybe I'll buy a new one. I've found prices ranging from $325 to $870(military or police edition I;m guessing). I'm so lost in this. Someone please help me out. Thanks again everyone for putting up with my newbie questions.
 
Price is high, and you'll want a real stock too. Beater 870s with wood stocks run around $200 on a good day. Offer him $250....
 
I agree, a little high on the price.
I bought a used barely fired 870 Express Magnum for $250 recently, from a gun store

And you will want to get a real stock for it which will add more $$
