870 express magnum tactical setup

I'm buying an 870 express magnum saturday and I'm going to set it up as a tactical shotgun.

What I want to do is get an adjustable stock with pistol grip, synthetic foregrip, magazine extension, led tac light, and sling. What are the cheapest places online to get these items?

I'm also getting the barrel cut and haven't decided whether or not I want to go with ghost ring sights or a bead. I was thinking 18 inches would be the best length because it's shorter for clearing rooms.

One of the better places to buy shotgun accessories is Brownell's:
http://www.brownells.com

Brownell's is a professional gunsmith supply house, and they carry just about everything for shotguns that's fit to have.

To get the rock-bottom best price, with no other considerations, you'll have to shop around.
Just remember that other places often jam you on shipping.

One suggest: Buy a Remington Express already set up as a tactical gun.

Remington makes what they used to call the "Home Defense" guns.
These are Express models with 18" barrels, synthetic stocks, and one version already equipped with the best magazine extender made, the Remington factory model:

These don't cost much more than a standard sporting type Express and will save you having to buy a magazine extension.

Also, Remington has been making special runs of "Tactical Green" Express guns for several big distributors, like Lew Horton.
These have factory mag extensions, pistol grip full stocks, and a OD Green coated finish.
Your local dealer should know where to get these.

I'm gettin the express for 200 dollars barely used though, and the barrel will cost me 50 dollars only, and then the mag extensions are cheap too, so not a big deal, but thanks for the info.

Oh yeah, that knoxx folding stock looks awesome. I've seen videos of people heavy rounds with pistol grips before and it looked worse with 2 hands.

i got the one in the bottom pic, I'd like a sling and ghost ring sight, any recommendations ?

an option for a light would be nice too but i'm not spending what a Surefire cost.:)

Slings are strictly a matter of personal preference.

The easiest to install ghost ring site setup is the Wilson BECAUSE of the factory bead sight set up.

The factory bead is on a base that's brazed on the barrel.
Before most replacement sights can be installed, this base has to be removed, and there in is the problem.

There are two ways to get the base off.
One is to heat the barrel to a red heat until the braze melts.
This isn't good for the barrel, and the heat destroys the finish.
Once the base is off, the excess braze has to be removed by filing and grinding, the barrel has to be refinished, and the bore needs to be re-polished.

Second, is to cut the base off.
This is a better option since it takes no heat, and other than the bare spot left where the base was, there's no need to refinish....YET.
Cutting requires some skill with a file and grinding tools.

To install a ghost ring front, you either have to braze the sight on, which again takes red heat and requires refinishing, and re-polishing the bore, OR you can buy a clamp-on type sight.

The Wilson ghost ring front sight is mounted OVER the factory base.
The sight is attached by epoxy gluing it over the base, then putting a cross pin through the new sight and the factory base.
This is very strong when done right.

The rear sight is attached by drilling and tapping the receiver.

Wilson sights are used on the Remington Factory Police guns, and Wilson will install them for a fair price.
