870 Express Ejector

Does the express have a ejector spring? I have 3 without springs,all my Wingmasters have springs.One 12 sometimes F.T.E..

The 20 gauge here doesn't, much to my surprise.

Thankyou Dave,on the one Express I'm having sometimes FTE,the front ejector rivet looks deformed,kind of looks like it might have held a spring at one time.The 20&other 12 seemto work ok.

Check the front corner of the ejector and see if it's rouhded smoothly,James.That sometimes get busted up and causes glitches.

I worked a coupla rounds through this one, same as always. No prob.

Dave: Checked some new 870E today.The 12's all had the spring,the 20's did not.Need to place an order with Brownells any way

Thanks for respondng, James. I wonder how that happens, and if the spring is all that needed. Please keep us posted....
