I've not found any of the collapsibles nor the AR style stocks to be comfortable to shoot.

Of course, if this is just a picture gun that's not meant as a tool, leave it on.

My advice mirrors that above. Put the old style stuff back on and sell these to someone you do not like.

And then, go shoot the thing plenty. About the time you realize you've just destroyed lots of targets in comfort, the factory stuff will look a lot better.

well i like shooting it. the only rifle i have is a 300 win mag witch i can shoot 31/2 inch mag and my 870 wont kick as hard as the 300 even with the pistol grip

Since no one else will answer the question you asked, I Will.

First, often the forend is not centered on the action bar tube. Remove the forend and make sure that the forend is not canted one direction or the other. This can cause the forend to rub and stall the action.

Second, there may be a over mold mark or build up of material on the underside of the forend scraping on the barrel or rear of the mag tube. If you are going to keep this forend sand the underside with 120 grit to smooth, and finish paper to get the scratches out. I also apply a coat of floor wax to the bottoms of my speed feed forends to keep things running smooth. That a manufactures tip to you at no charge;) .

Don't you just love it when folks choose to answer a question that you never ASKED.

Good Luck & Be Safe
