8045 ammo?

I just bought a 8045 and was wandering what ammo is best in this gun

i have a 92fs and a glock 23 but i have never had a 45

My Cougar eats what ever I feed it, but for defensive purposes I usually carry 185 gr JHPs, occasionally Federal PD 165 gr or Corbon or Speer GDHP 185 +P. I have no real world experience/scientific reason, just from reading that suggests that the shorter tube is better served with a lighter/faster round. At the range it has been adequqtely accurate at 10 m. with most anything I've put in it. Nice kitty, good shooting to ya. M2
