C COASTER New member Jul 22, 2005 #1 Hi Folks ! I was recently at the range shooting my 357 and chatted with some more experienced gentlemen who mentioned that an 8 round revolver was being tested by Ruger and S&W. Does anybody know if there is any truth to this? Thanks for your time ! Have a safe shoot !<:?

C CarbineCaleb New member Jul 22, 2005 #2 Hi coaster - there may be a new one coming out now, but S&W has had this guy for a little while at least, the 627 Performance Center: It's a 5" barreled large (N) frame revolver in .357 Magnum. I have rented it - very nice gun. http://www.firearms.smith-wesson.com/store/index.php3?cat=293545&item=831437&sw_activeTab=1

B Benzene Moderator Jul 23, 2005 #3 I own the 608 COASTER, in addition to the model 627 there's also the S&W 327, a cute little 8-rounder. I own (and love) the Taurus model 608, a steel, 8-round, .357 magnum revolver.
