$700 Benelli Super-90. Good deal?

I stumbled across a used Benelli M-1, Super-90 at a gun shop for $738 out-the-door.

It's well used, 24" camo/synthetic with 5 chokes, wrench, hard case, etc.

I have the feeling that it's a good deal but not a great one. Whatcha think?

Before anyone says it, I already have a few 20's and 12's including an 11-87 SPS so I certainly don't need it and I wasn't really looking. I know that I can get a Franchi, Beretta, Browning Gold, etc. cheaper but I don't really like them. I was going to use it as a turkey/duck gun and I'm impressed by Benelli's reputation for durability.

According to my catalog, a Benelli M1 Super 90 Camo Field goes for about $750 (Exc), $700 (V.G.), $600 (good), $500 (fair), $400 (poor). Only you can assess the condition, but from your description, I'm guessing that, at best, it's in the "good" category, and probably $100 overpriced.

In my own opinion, I wouldn't want one because they were as ugly as a mud fence.

They were promoted as a good home defense gun and still are.
