Does the German Mauser K98, the Czech VZ-24 and the Turkish Mauser 1938 use the same ammunition (8 m)? Any other information regarding these rifles is very welcome. Thank you.
The most commonly seen caliber for the VZ24 is 7.92 x 57 (or "8mm Mauser"), but the rifle was a commercial military model and was offered in 7 x 57 and 7.65 x 53 as well. In any case of doubt, a rifle should be checked by a gunsmith and/or a chamber case made.
