7.62/9mm conversions

I'm thinking of getting a 9mm conversion barrel for my Polish Tokarev. Does anyone have any experience using 7.62 magazines
with 9mm ammo in converted Toks or CZ-52's? Also, is it safe
to just drop in an aftermarket barrel of a different caliber into
your pistol? Thanks for any insights.

The 7.62x25 is a formidable round! The 9mm is a pussycat compared to it. J&G Sales has barrels - supposedly drop-ins - for $79.95. I would advise you have a good pistolsmith check out the fit if you are not comfortable with fitting a barrel.

I can't speak for the mag question. I haven't found a CZ-52 in the condition I want yet. But, CDNN Investments sells 9mm mags specifically for the Tok.

The Germans converted thousands of Tokarevs to 9mm with just a barrel change. The magazine works fine.
