6mm vs whitetail ?

I bought some Sierra 85g BTHP Gamekings thinking they were Matchkings but I figure I could put them to good use. Will these hold up on PA whitetail at ranges less than 200 yards or are they varmint only? 6mm remington around 3K muzzle velocity. I'm going not taking any chances on fancy shots since I can hunt these vermin any day on my property.
 
I use these bullets in my 6mmx45mm loads. Took a blacktail spike a couple years ago through the neck, and it went down like a sack of rocks. Exit wound was about 3" across, I wouldn't hesitate to use them on small deer, as long as you got a good lung/heart or neck shot. They are not going to penetrate deeply, but sure do damage what they hit.
 
I've killed about 20 or so deer with that bullet from my .243. The majority of the shots were easy hits on the neck or in the heart/lung area. I dunno; 50 yards to around 150.

I worked up to 37.5 grains of 3031, the book max; I regularly get 3-shot 3/8" & 1/2" groups at 100 yards.
