I was looking for a load for my 6mm ppc using RL12 Powder. Not an easy task.
I did come across a squeak about a Competition Bench rest shooter from 1992. His name is D.A. Grennel apparently he used RL12 in his 6mm ppc and shot a very respectable group. Anyone know of this Gentleman ? Thanks it would be a real refreshing lift to add the past to the present to something we are passionate about. 455

Hi. RL-12 was discontinued around 1998. So it's an impossible task. Any RL-12 you find will be older than dirt. Only matters if it hasn't been stored properly or if the can/bottle is open.
There's 6mmPPC data and a boat load of info on http://www.6mmbr.com/6ppc.html
Dean A. Grennel was one of the writers of The ABC's of Reloading and an editor of American Handgunner in at least 1980. He had something to do with Hand Gun Digest too. Probably an editor there as well. He invented the .45 Super too. Died in 2004 according to Wikipedia. Don't like suggesting Wikipedia, but there doesn't seem to be much else. He got around so he did.

Thank you T. O'Heir for the links and about Dean Grennel. Life does have a habit of getting in the way. The RL12 is in very good condition stored properly. I have a list coming about a competition shoot in Matane Quebec where Mr Grennel was competing. I hope he has the RL12 loads in it. I would like to post the list if I can figure out how to up load a photo to the forum.

Thank you for the info old Roper. I have loads for my 6ppc just not for RL12. I use mostly H322 in the 6ppc 68 g Berger 27.7g of the powder. Also for the 63 g Rubright I use 27.5 g of H322.
The Rubright 63g bullets that I have came in boxes of 100. I got them from an older gentleman who bought them back in the early 1990s.
