Notice that this machine pistol can be had with 9x18 regular ammo: 95 grains @ 950 fps OR
9x18 Modernized Pistol Cartridge 95 gr. @ 1247 fps...

Does anyone here know of this ammo? Is it available here in this country? A Russian contact of mine says the ammo is "safe and usual" with some of the special police there in parts of Russia.

I've definately seen the ammo advertised in places like Shotgun News and The Gun List - I believe by companies selling inexpensive imported sidearms that use it. Just looked through a recent Gun List and didn't see any, however. It probably has a designation like "9mm Mauser" or something similar to differentiate it from 9mm Parabellum.

And it's probably not cheap buying it by the box.

It's out there, keep looking :)
