OK, OK, before anything else, where did you get that scope mount with built in rear sight???
You don't often see .44 magnums set up like a .38 wadcutter gun, pretty neat.

It utilizes the factory rear sight, but their rail system the shortens the sight radius.

So, my gunsmith just made a taller, replacement front sight.

That way in silhouette matches, I can use the same gun, grip, trigger, and load in both classes.

Nice soft shooting plinker load . 900fps?? Hows it shoot with hotter loads, 1400, 1500fps loads.

I have been using red dots on revolvers for hunting for many years. They tend to be almost like cheating. Mine is a 44mag DW with a burris 135 speed dot.

Not sure I would care to pull the trigger with a stout hunting load and those target grips.

Yes, 900fps for silhouette matches.

Looked for a .44 Special load in Mag brass

Good accuracy, 240gr knocks'em down

Not much need for the extra velocity, recoil, and powder expense.

Target stocks fit my hands like a glove and full house magnums aren't uncomfortable.
