Guys,

Found a 625 PC 4 inch stainless .45 ACP, has the lock, barrel profile like a Combat magnum, and a brass bead front sight.

Now is $1000 to much?

And is the barrel one piece (it looks like it is.)

Thanks,

Deaf

The Jerry Mic models are selling for about $1100 and they have what I consider an ugly billboard on the right side (his initials). Plus, they have the internal lock.

I would pay 1100 in a heart beat for one like you describe if it didn't have either of those.

Buy it. I got mine for $968 several years ago. It is my favorite revolver.

It had some FTF problems at first as S&W puts in a .495" firing pin to pass some state drop tests. I put an Apex Tactical XP firing pin in it (.505"). After about 2K rounds I started get FTFs again due some minor cylinder end play. I added a .002" cylinder bushing to eliminate the cylinder end play. Ignition went back to 100% again.

I replaced the red, white and blue laminate grips with maple Ahrens Retro Tactical grips. It is now one good looking wheel gun.

It is most accurate with 162gr SWC and 200gr RNFP bullets; cast or plated.
But you need to load them up to the max to get the most accuracy.
