If it's yours and you've shot it how about a range report?

If it's yours and you've decided not to shoot it but just hold on to it I'd completely understand.

Yeah it's mine and you betcha I'm gonna shoot it... Glad to do a range report, but I'm waiting on moon clips to come in the mail. Tomorrow is their expected delivery date. (I am more patient than spendy when it comes to shipping!) I have had the 610-2 for about a week... Cannot wait to shoot it!
 
Filthy, That is REALLY nice. I had two of the original run of 5" 610s, way back when. Wish I'd kept at least one of them. The 610 was the most accurate 10MM I ever had, and one of the most accurate N-Frames, of any caliber, that I ever owned. You might say I'm kind of a 10MM fan. I've owned Bren Ten, several S&W autos, Ruger Blackhawk Colt Delta, Kimber, Glock,etc. I think you'll really enjoy that 610.
 
That's a terrific revolver, but I can't -NOT- say it: the grips are making me vomit.

I think just about anything would look better than that Hogue.
I think they could sell that Hogue at the Lion's Den.
 
mine is a 6", & has been chambered for 10mm magnum ( so it shoots 40 S&W, 10mm & 10 Mag :D ) bottom in this pic

BTW... didn't see the "lock hole" in the OP's pic, did I miss it, or did they make these prior to the lock ??? mine has "the hole":o

mine still has the rubber grips, but, it will likely get camo laminated wood, like the top gun in the pic...
 
I found the 3-inch version of this to be too heavy and just not balanced right. Since it is an N-Frame on the outside, with no cylinder flutes, and yet has only 10mm holes, that is a lot of steel.

But a 4 or 5-inch version would balance different. I might find that to be "better".

I doubt I'll find the chance to really find out.

Who saw no lock hole on the OP's picture. And saw case-hardened trigger and hammer.
 
I bought my 610 No Dash around 20 years ago. It was the 5" version. I took it by to see Ron Power around 1993, and when it came home it had his Power Custom Combat work done to it, and the barrel shortened off the back to 4" making it into the perfect carry revolver. It should have been a 4" in the first place in my opinion.

It was carried in a Tex Shoemaker Semi-Break Front Security holster for 15 years as a Reserve Deputy, and a couple years as Police Chief.

I shot it in an ICORE Match Sunday.

Like was said above it is one very accurate handgun.

I may run it back to see Ron in the near future to have a pinned on Fiber Optic front sight installed.

Mine is a 610-2. If I could only choose one revolver, it would be a tough call between this one and my S&W 657.

OK! Got to shoot it today, had a good time. Felt recoil is very manageable - almost light. Couldn't even tell that much difference between the 40 S&W and the 10 mm. The weight of this baby really keeps it from jumping too hard. Trigger felt great on single and double. I hadn't used moon clips before ... I really dig 'em - looking at the spent cases makes me want to start reloading! Overall... I love it.

I am no great marksman, but at 7, 15 and 25 yards.... Two-handed, one handed... Single and double action... Shot at a pretty brisk pace... BG would be in ground or ICU, threat would be eliminated. I am not really interested in making a clover if it takes me time to do it, but rather 6 shots quick in the size of my palm.

I included a target picture. No, I'm not going to show you all 70 holes. Haha.
