I believe this was made by the same company that made the Tower British 1759 Light Dragoon Smoothbore Pistol. The lock is the same as my Tower Pistol as is the off-side lock plate. I've had a pistol for years, didn't know they made a long gun. Any info would be appreciated.

Disassembly

Well it definitely was a kit originally. A couple of the pins holding various parts on were barely hit when drilled. The stock literally fell apart it was so rotten. The inner workings of the lock are a mass of rust but are soaking in oil. If the screws break free the parts may be salvageable but I don't foresee them being used again. The barrel is rusty and pitted but also salvageable. I will post some pics of the disassembly soon.
