608 Qn

Has anyone else had this experience? If so, what did you do?

I love the Taurus 608 revolver - 8 rounds of .357 magnum in a 4" "mean-looking" piece. But I've noticed that, when I cock the hammer to secure a better aim and squeeze the trigger, nothing happens - FTF! It takes some banging and shaking and twisting for the hammer to decock.

Thanks for your prized comments.

I don't know the 608, but I have had to fix a couple of revolvers with this problem. Take it to a 'smith, because it is too easy to screw p the trigger/sear engagement, if you don't have some experience (BTDT)

I haven't had that problem with my 608 however I don't fire it much, using it mainly to recycle .357 ammo I don't want to put through my S&W Model 60 3-incher. My main complaint of the 608 is how hard it is to clean due to the porting. I do wish Taurus didn't have to go and port everyting. You have only a three-inch barrel in that gun, you know, except for the sight radius.
