?????

Deathwish, disclaimer or no, handmade AP ammo is something that the Firing Line does not want discussed here.

We have almost 6000 members, and God only knows how many lurkers.

If we start discussing the 'how' of basement Armour Piercing ammo, and a lurker copies the instructions down, follows the instructions and kills someone with the ammo--the Media will more than likely find out how and where he got the instructions. Doom on us.

Likewise, if Diane Fienstein or others of her ilk find out that We, the Firing Line, are hosting instructions on building the dreaded 'cop-killer ammo', then The Firing Line may be used as a source for the next Great Gun Control Bill. At the very least, We would be the topic of a hyperbolic speech given in Congress.

Can you imagine it? "The Firing Line, Ladies and Gentlemen, the leading online forum for Firearms, is discussing at this very instant how to kill those who protect us? And they have the nerve to call us radical?!"

No thanks.

Just about any other firearms related topic is fair game on The Firing Line. Enjoy.

Understood, I was only curious, but I guess that's what killed the cat, eh? :o

I'll try not to make an @$$ of myself again...

I was a little perturbed about the recent thread closing myself until you convinced me. Good spiel LawDog.

Deathwish, if you wanna talk about AP 9mm, how about telling me which commercially available bullets in 9mm, .40S&W or .45ACP would be my best defense against alligators (their hides are pretty thick) -- not to hunt them but to protect myself and my family for when they wander into my backyard (as it has already happened twice in the past).

Bear/croc defense-type 9mm, eh? LOL! Shoot em in the eye and see if they flinch!

To understand the true nature of a Politician - you have to look at the root words in Politics. Poli = meaning Many, and Tics = meaning blood sucking insects.

This is an important issue as explained above. As a matter of respect for the Board's operator, administrators, moderators and my brother and sister members, I would not want to do anything to jeopardize this community of shooters. I hope everyone feels the same way.
