.600 Nitro Express for Home Defense?

With all you guys asking about .35 Whelens, .458 Magnum and scoped sniper rifles for HD, I'm feeling undergunned. Apparently, I've misjudged my attacker's capabilities. So, should I use pappy's .600 Nitro Express to protect my home and family? How about an 8 gauge shotgun? I heard Hitler had tripod mounted machine guns in his bedroom...should I be looking into this?

Ya'll are wussies. I have a Phalynx System set up in my family room to deal with possible intruders. I also mined the front yard.
