6 Rounds?

I want to get into revolvers as my main sidearm. I love their simplicity, ease of use, reliability, looks, feel, accuracy, and power.

The only thing that concerns me is 6 shots.

Please, revolver crowd, HELP!

If that seems like too many, you can download it to whatever number you like. I prefer to carry them fully loaded though. Doesn't hurt them a bit.

I don't really know what you're expecting us to tell you here. You want someone to tell you six shots is ok? It's enough until it isn't.

Nobody said you can't reload them.

And reload fast too... Speed strips are kinda slow but speed loaders are just as fast as a mag change, IMO.

What happened to the 627? If you were concerned about 8 shots, why even bother asking about the 6? Sounds like you are trying to start an argument and not get answers to a question.

One day you are asking if 8 is enough, and now its 6? When is the thread asking if 5 is enough, tomorrow? Next week derringers? How about you get some training and make up your own mind?

Hell he forgot the 7 shot L frames! 8 is plenty look how many people rely on a 1911 on a daily basis 7+1!!! 7 is plenty as well hell 6 did the good guys fine for at least 50yrs.

Custer...well he carried 2 Webleys (3" inch barrels) at the LBH. There were shell casings found under his body, but the Webleys were gone.

Is 6 enough? I guess for Custer it was 12.
