6 Point Buck

[Deet]

After 5 solid days of hunting and seeing about 60 does I was ready to call it quits. Then off to my left I heard some Pheasant hunters coming my way, they spooked about 10-12 does and this buck which wizzed by me at 35 yards full tilt. I raised my Mossberg 500 and tracked him like a dove and fired hoping to hit him and slow him down, my aim was good and hit him in the heart. He sped away and died 100 yards away. His heart was shredded and he still managed to travel 100 yards full speed. Next time someone posts on a HD gun, I might answer a Tank, instead of a 12 ga., LOL

Say it aint so. A Mossberg used in the taking of a deer? But But the rattling should have prevented you from squeezing the trigger.

He field dressed at 165 pounds. Mossberg used rattles quite a bit maybe the deer mistook it for a fight. LOL
