6 FTF's in a 50 round box of Aguila

I am a wee bit ticked off, I had 6 FTF's from a box of 50 in .40 cal.

I brought 50 Blazer, 125 WWB and 50 Aguila and since I haven't tried the Ag, I loaded it first. First 14 went bang w no problems, inserted mag #2 and fired 6 good rounds and *click*. I cleared the round, fired 2 more and got the second *click*, cleared again, and fired the last 4 rounds and cleared my gun.

I went back to the counter behind me and broke down my Sigma, gave it quick cleaning with Hoppes, and went back up to the line.

After I cleaned the gun & reloaded the mags, I had 4 more Aguila FTF's.

I switched to the Blazer and fired 50 flawless shots, and then fired 42 rounds of WWB (3 mags) without any problems.

Anyone else ever have a problem with Aguila Ammo? I still have 150 rounds of it here.

I agree, that stuff is complete South-of-the-Border junk. Even the smell of the primers (of the ones that actually do fire) makes me sick. Don't even get me started about the case head blowouts......

Wow, I recently bought about 500 rounds of Acquila 380. I've run through about 100 without any trouble. They seem as accurate as other range ammo but are a little on the dirtier side.

I've run Aguila .22 rimfire, .380 and 9mm through a number of handguns. It has ALWAYS fed, fired, extracted and ejected without fail.

I won't own a gun that will not function with a particular brand of ammunition.

I believe Aguila's plant is operated by Remington.

I bought 200 rounds because of the raves I heard on it. I just hoping it's the one box, and not all 4.

Don't knock the Siggy, it was free:D

i was looking at their sniper subsonic ammo, its like a 45gr(i think) subsonic bullet.

Aguila Sniper SubSonic is 60 grains. Works fine in my Marlin 60 and two Walther P22s. Never had a fail to fire/feed. Keyholing is a whole nuther issue. SSS likes a 1:9 twist.

LOL.

Try 20 FTF's in a box of 50 Red Box American Eagle 380 ammo I just tried to fire out of my Mauser HSC at the range.

After I fired out all that 'stuff,I switched to a box of PMC ammo and it was like night and day.

I still had to load six rounds instead of seven but it fed much, much better.

ive got 2 boxes of cci maxi mag .22mag that every other round takes 2-3 strikes on the primer to fire.
this is in 2 guns, and the other guys hornady v-max worked great in my gun.

I use aa lot of the primer only powered humming bird 22s they all work great for me. never tryed the centerfire as I roll my own.
