if someone happened to pick this up they would get a nice reward, and help solve a crime.

you could buy about 10 glocks, if you have the (un)lucky one.

The point?

The point is exactly that, help solve a crime do your part if you have that pistol and feel good about it... that it no other reason.... I guess some get it and some don't....

Please see orginal post edited I did add the reasoning behind my post.

SORRY ALL

yea those were my thoughts but i was on my way out the door when i posted.

the OP should include minor details-

Anyone in OK bought a Glock 22 from a gun show? you might have a hot gun and $5000 on your hands, check out this link, and check your serial numbers. Lets help put this creep away, and get you a new glock and $4500!

huh, that makes me think, do you think the authorities would reimburse you for the piece? or after the reward they would say dont be greedy.

In a nutshell, if you have a Glock 22 (.40 S&W) and the serial number is EKG463US there's a $5,000 reward for turning it in.

If I had it I'd have called them and told y'all not to bother...

Big question is: is the reward legitimate or a method of busting the worthless waste of genetic material that used it.

Seem to remember that a while back police sent out "Your A Winner, Cash Prize" mailings to some individuals having outstanding warrants in order to get them to unwittingly surrender themselves: one such can be found here.

And if you unwittingly purchased the weapon, do you think you will be getting a reward or an adjoining cell?

current owner is not a suspect, a nice way to lure someone in. I'd bet they will be held for 24hrs of pure hell.

I wouldn't think any murderer clever enough to still be loose would be dumb enough to bring the murder weapon in for a promised reward. If the police think that, and plan to subject an innocent person to murder-charges and harsh interrogation, that's both stupid and evil on their part
