I own a Barrett 82, and it stays in the closet. A nice area weapon, but hardly MOA accurate. Only accurate rifles interest me. Barretts are not interesting.
Serbu makes a real interesting single shot bolt gun, promises to be accurate with good ammo ( a real problem in 50bmg) recoil is alittle stiff but hardly unbearable.
AMAC/Iver Johnson makes a rifle, but the remove the bolt to load it drill has been known to cause fatalities in some cases.
Armalite has a nice 42 pound single shot that is accurate as hell with reasonable ammo, and just plain scary with match grade stuff. Has the best recoil reduction system of the bunch, and the price is reasonable at around $2500.00.
