Anybody use one? I know 5.11 is a good brand, but never heard anything about their belts. I would be using it for occasional carrying of my Sig during alternative methods deer. I would probably have a Safariland holster, Safarilandag pouch, and Ka-Bar kydex sheath. I want to know if it is trustworthy for climbing tree stands, and just general walking through the woods. Any other suggestions would be great too!

^^^ what he says.

I use a Trainer and carry using it as my daily carry belt. Very stiff and infinately adjustable. That and a pair of 5-11 Khaki's and I am good to go. Excellent products.

Hard use belts, gear...

5.11 is a decent brand. There are a few other synthetic models & styles.
Some like horsehide, steer, bull, rhino, elk, etc.

I have 2 of the Operator belts from 5.11,I like them alot they are nice and stiff. The velcro has worn out kind of fast though with daily use. They are also 1.75'' wide btw

I'm about to order a work belt from Amish Leather, a company I saw recommended on another forum. They are cut from 12-13 ounce cowhide, heavier than anything I've seen advertised in a long time. I'll let you know how it works as a carry belt.
