4th of July message for all

Just a goodbye for a few days. Going to Boise to scout the area.

Remember, the 4th is about how a group of radicals decided to put it all on the line for freedom. Many died. The public at large was apethetic or Tories/Loyalists and the cause was not incredibly popular until they won (just something to chaw on over the weekend).

They were radical revolutionaries then and the ideas are still revolutionary today (just look at how many people are working to destroy all concepts of individual sovereignty, liberty, and ideals of limited government). Most of us take it for granted, but the system outlined in the Constitution is an extremely rare arrangement of power.

If you believe in what's written in the Constitution, if you believe in individualism and that govt can only derive its powers from the consent of the governed, YOU ARE A REVOLUTIONARY!! Screw all this PC crap and appeasment, the mass of people in this country probably will never hold liberty dear anyway. We need to be honest and forthright about things and quit worrying about the labels someone might stick on us. We are radicals, we are revolutionaries, we are patriots, we belong to the militia.

Happy 4th!!!!!!!!1

"Put a rifle in the hands of a Subject, and he immediately becomes a Citizen." -- Jeff Cooper

"The fact is that the average man's love of liberty is nine-tenths imaginary, exactly like his love of sense, justice and truth. He is not actually happy when free; he is uncomfortable, a bit alarmed, and intolerably lonely. Liberty is not a thing for the great masses of men. It is the exclusive possession of a small and disreputable minority, like knowledge, courage and honor. It takes a special sort of man to understand and enjoy liberty - and he is usually an outlaw in democratic societies." -- H.L. Mencken, February 12, 1923, Baltimore Evening Sun
