4GA shotgun ammo?

It looks like 4GA shotgun is cheaper to have than 50 BMG Barrett M99 ,

Anyone knows if it's possible to handload 4 gauge ammo? (equipment wise...)
oh, please, don't start "What the heck need it for?"

I've contacted a lot of people including Russian ammo companies,
but no go finding 4ga shells. If your luck's different, let me know.
Between that shotgun and a snub-nosed Casull, it would make
for an "interesting" day at the range.

this place might want to make 4 gauge shotshell if there's demand, after all that's their job making odd-ball ammo.

Here's a picture of a couple of rounds from my collection; left to right, they are a 4 GA shell loaded with #4 shot by Eley, an 8 GA rifle cartridge headstamped Eley, an 8 GA "kiln gun" slug by Dominion, a 12 GA x 2 3/4" shell by Winchester, and just for scale, a 25 ACP cartridge.

I wish I could be more specific, but I wasn't paying close attention at the time. In any event, there was a guy shooting a 4ga at my range. Needless to say, it immediately drew our attention. I asked the obvious question about ammo availability. He said he used brass cases from a flare launcher. Had to trim them down a bit, but somehow developed a way to make them work. Sorry I didn't pursue the issue any further, but I decided against looking for a 4ga!
