Here is the new addition to the family. I've already put a Leupold 2X on it and a Hogue Tamer. Got new brass and bullets to try out soon. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1335471342.317169.jpg
 
hope you like some recoil. It's not painful but it sure will let you know your lobbing big chunks-O-lead. Be careful though my SRH lead me to a BFR.
 
I have a 2x Leupold on mine. Excellent scope for handgun hunting. I figure if you can't kill it with the 480, you need a rifle.
 
This pertains to North America only!

If you can't kill it with a .480 Ruger you've either missed or are out of effective range.

In either case get closer to it and try again if possible.

If you still can't kill it with a .480 Ruger you've either missed again or are under gunned for the intended quarry.

In either case you're SOL. lol!
 
Congratulations on your acquisition of a superb revolver chambered in a seriously underrated and incredibly accurate caliber. I have a 9.5" version that I purchased last year from CDNN when they were closing them out at a fire sale price.

What's your handload recipe for it?

I'll be loading for it this weekend with 400gr. XTP's and H110. I've got to buy some cast for it as well.
