Some 45 colt contender barrels will also chamber the .410 shotgun shell , This makes for a easy job of shooting the .450 mongo , A 444 marlin case loaded with a .452 bullet
 
I realize that the TC will work with both a 45 Colt and the 410 as I have one. however there is so much freebore in the TC because of the 410 chamber that shooting the 45 Colt is a waste of time for any kind of accuracy. I also feel that if you take a something chambered specifically for the 45 Colt the 410 will not chamber. it is mentioned that the gun in question is the S & W 460 in which case a 410 will probably not chamber or be way too and stick out the front of the cylinder
