OK. I collect British service revolvers. 22, 380, 455 and 577. 450 Adams too. I find quite a few that have been converted from 455 to 45 ACP in the Webley large frame. This reduces the value roughly by 50%. I see Colt New Service and S&W New Century revolvers at times. The problem? They are often converted from 455 to 45 Long Colt. Are these safe to shoot? I found an otherwise OK S&W New Century for less than $300.00. It has been converted though. I wonder whether to buy or pass?
