454 casull has proved itself

It succesfuly took out a HUGE black bear...believe to be some sort of a record it took one shot through the heart and lungs...and well you know the rest thought i would share my exciting discovery of power..passed right throught the chest cavity...soo if you need a "back up gun" the casull can do the job.

I was thinking about getting one for my ankle holster :D as my backup to my .40... Think it will be ok hanging down at my ankle?

Good job on bagging the bear! You should post pictures! What brand of revolver were you using? :cool:
 
i was using the Ruger SRH, unless you go with the alaskan the 2" version..i dont think the casull would work as an ankle gun 7 1/2" barrel...ill try to get pictures asap.

I was not aware that the .454 needed to prove anything. It's a wicked round that could easily kill just about anything. ;)
