450 smc questions

Thinking about picking up a cmmg 45 acp carbine that can fire the 450 smc.

But the 450 smc seems to use a thicker brass with a small magnum pistol primer, Starline doesn't sell it. Just Buffalo Bore loaded ammo.

Can a Glock gen4 G21 or G41 fire a 450 smc?

Can a Glock gen4 G21 or G41 fire a 45+P, or a 45 super?

I have an itch to pickup a 45 and start reloading for it!
 
Call Glock and ask. My expectation would be that, especially with a barrel that supports the brass well, they should be usable. But ask to be sure.
 
Word (from founders of 45 Super and 450 SMC) was that a Glock needed a different barrel with better case support. Doubletap said (a couple years ago) they would sell just the brass. Contact them.
 
Interestingly, that article suggests the brass is thick enough not to require more than normal chamber support. It sounds like the case design is just a better pressure mousetrap.
 
"...a better pressure mousetrap..." Apparently that's exactly what it is. Lotta "better mousetraps" in the firearms world. I blame the MBA's running the assorted firearms companies. snicker.
